Today was a great day! We did so many fun things, and my sister skipped out on most of her meetings, so we were able to spend the entire day together. While my sister went to her morning meetings, me and my mom hit the beach to work on our tans. My mom also decided to feed some birds the remainder of my dough-nut, not such a good idea if you don't want to be attacked.

When I asked my mom to put some sunscreen on me, she said "You'll be fine for a few minutes, and I'm not putting sunscreen on you until you take your board shorts off. You look cuter in just your bikini." ...not something you would expect most moms to say. Especially after she just got some pre-cancer sun spots removed from her legs. Silly moms. Thus, it was the only day we actually got any real sun.
After lounging on the beach, we met up with my sister and headed to the marina to catch a Dolphin Encounter Tour. Not worth the $25 we paid, especially because you can just see dolphins playing around the pier most nights! However, the boat ride was pretty fantastic because of the breeze!

After the Dolphin Encounter Tour, we headed to Frenchy's Diner to grab a world famous "Grouper Burger". Okay, my Mom and sister ate the burger, I had chicken strips because I'm not a fan of fish, but it does look pretty tasty!

After dinner, we headed next door to the Frenchy's gift shop to grab some awesome souvenirs! I got a bracelet, and a little Santa Clause ornament with flippers on his feet! (Thanks for the tradition Val, I think it's a wonderful thing to collect and keep memories with!)

Then we wandered around downtown for a while and just shopped and shopped until we had blown almost all our our money and had more bags than we could carry!

My mom and I with all the loot!
Then it was off the Pier 60 to watch the sunset! Pier 60 is this adorable little place where vendors set up little booths with lots of goodies all lined up on the pier. They had some really great jewelry and trinkets, of which all three of us spent a little more money and got some jewelry. We couldn't resist!

Sadly, right before sunset the clouds rolled in. It was still a beautiful night so we sat on the beach, which literally felt like you were sitting in flour! It was so soft and white. I think the sand is softer than my bed!

By this time Nick was texting and calling me a lot to see how things were going. He was pretty lonely while I was gone, and I have to admit, I missed him a lot too! Plus, it's really nice to know that you were missed. My sister and Mom didn't get quite so lucky as their husbands actually admitting that they missed them, even though I'm sure they did! Love you baby, this is just for you!

After that it was back to the hotel and off to bed! Once again, Jenny stayed up way late watching TV! Don't ask me how she woke up every morning in time for her 9:00 AM meetings after being up half the night for 3 straight days!
