Okay, so I figured that since I'm going to Florida next week and will have lots of things to post about shortly, I'd better get caught up! On memorial day weekend Nick and I went with my family to our property in Bear Lake. It was so much fun! Nick's Dad let us borrow their two ATV's and they definitely kept us entertained over the rainy weekend. Even my mom got in on the fun riding them! It really was fun to be able to have some things to play with...even though one of them was having some issues.

Me, Nick, Kurt, and Mr. Jeep.

Jeff and Pearl going for a ride! Pearl and Ruby really loved the "little cars" and cried when we tried to make them get off!

There were a few glorious moments of sunshine...so we headed to the beach! Even though it was still pretty chilly, Nick and I decided to go for a swim! It was freezing cold, but not nearly as cold as Alaska water! I was too wimpy to go all the way under, so my mom and sister told Jesse they would give him $5 each if he would run out there in his underwear and dunk me. Needless to say, as soon as I realized what was going on, I went under to avoid being attacked by my older brother...and well, ha, I think this picture speaks for itself. He didn't have a swimsuit on. Kurtis also got $10 for jumping in the lake in his roo's, but I figured that since he's still so young, I'd save him the embarrassment and keep those pictures to myself!

Sorry, just had to post this. Jesse is thinking about a new career in butt modeling!
Juno really loved going to the beach! She had so much fun following the Jeep and Quads down to the water, even though she wouldn't actually get in it. Wimp dog. She was so tired by the end of the trip that Nick and I had to lift her in and out of the car.

The next day (our last) Jeff, Dad, Kurt, Nick, and I took the quads and the jeep to the Sinks. Unfortunately the rain completely destroyed the trail...and well, there were a few moments where I really thought the jeep wasn't going to make it, and we would die along with it. But after much cursing and suave maneuvering by Nick, we made it safely up and down the trail. One of the quads however, wasn't as fortunate. The one that had been giving us some issues the entire trip ended up not starting on us, and we had to tow it back down the muddy mountain side. Thank goodness both Jeff and my Dad had previous experience with ATV's!
Later that day we did get a few more hours of sunshine, but instead of hitting the beach, this time we flew kites! It was a blast, and my $2 Finding Nemo kite was the best flier!

Pearl and Ruby also had a great time on the neighbors' swing set!

It was a really fun weekend and Nick and I are hoping to get back up there soon!

Then last week Pearl turned two!! She's getting so big and it's absolutely crazy! She is so smart for her age and absolutely adorable! Here are some pictures from the grillin' party at Jenny and Jeff's house.

Fun post girl! I love Bear Lake. You had me laughing a ton between the butt modeling and the cursing while maneuvering through with the Jeep. Looks like a ton of fun. Hopefully we can triple date soon and not just say we will. Sounds like Thursday nights probably work best for Mike and Brit.
Okay.... That Oreo Cake... wow! That looks amazing. I want some so bad now, it's not even funny!
