Lacrosse and Flatulants!

Nick and I had quite a busy Mother's Day weekend. Not only was it Mother's Day, but it was also Nick's birthday! He turned 24 this year. And to celebrate...Nick had to work all day. So I set off with my sister and Pearl to my little brother's lacrosse games in Ogden.
I really like going to Kurt's lacrosse games! They are fun to watch and well, lacrosse is a pretty cool sport. Much funner to watch than basketball, baseball, or football in my opinion. It's kind of like a mix between soccer and hockey. Very fun! And, it helps that Kurtis is pretty good! When he's not whacking people in the head and going to the penalty box, at least!

Kurtis actually played two games that day, and I stayed for both, but Jenny only stayed for one. So all of the pictures are during/after the first game. Jenny had to go home and get ready for the birthday party that night! Haha, see, my Mom and Dad had tickets to go to the Eagles concert, so my sister was put in charge of entertaining Kurt. We decided to have dinner and a small birthday gathering for Nick. So after Nick got done with work, he headed to Bountiful for steak dinner and rainbow chip cake! Yum yum! Even Jesse drove down from Logan to join the festivities!

Jenny must throw one heck of a fun party...because Nick ended up sleeping through most of it!! But when he finally woke up, we ate cake and told funny stories...most of which involved, well, bodily functions, to put it nicely! We literally spent a couple hours telling stories about poop! Haha, it was hilarious and I have never laughed so hard in my life! Who knew that Jesse, Nick, and Jeff had so many poop stories to tell! It's funny that once your parents are out of ear shot, you really let loose and tell stories that no one ever knew about before! It was so much fun to have everyone together and be able to hang out for a night! Oh, and we had our fun teasing my parents about how far away from the stage they were at the concert too!

So, while Jenny was making the real cake, Pearl made some fabulous no-bake cookies consisting of oats, red sprinkles, and coke. I dared Kurtis to eat them for four dollars and he did! I think his face says it all...
The night finally came to an end when EZ, (Emily, Jesse's wife) who had been in Montana with her family, called Jesse to warn him that she didn't have a key to get into their house and was almost home. So Jesse had to take off in hopes that he would be able to get to Emily and Ruby before they froze to death!
