The week after Easter I went to Baby Animal Days at The American West Heritage Center with my sister Jenny, her daughter Pearl, and my Mom. It was such a beautiful sunny day, and we had such a blast! The little animals were so dang cute, I wanted to take them all home with me. Good think Nick kept telling me no, or else we'd have a little zoo at our house!
Ready, Set....GO!

My favorite animals of the whole day were these little tiny turtles! They were so dang cute and small. I really wanted to take one home and they were only twelve dollars! Unfortunately, they were only selling them to people who had educational/display reasons for them.

This little calf was the cutest little thing I've ever seen! He was so soft and adorable! It really made me want to own a lot of land someday so that I can have cows, horses, and goats! So cute!

"Oink!"

Adorable little baby sheep.

These were my second favorite animals of the day, the goats! They were so cute. While we were there watching them, they were all playing in their water bowl, and head-butting each other!

Pearl riding on a pony. She wanted to keep riding him and keep riding him, so Jenny, my Mom, and I scraped all of our money together so she could go three times! She even was excited about wearing the sweet helmets!

These little tiny bunnies were so adorable, and so soft! I'm definitely planning on having some bunnies someday.
While waiting for the wagon ride to come back around, I discovered my true calling in life...chicken whispering! I started clucking at this chicken, and well, it started clucking back. It was so hilarious! It kept cocking it's head from side to side and staring me straight in the eyes. After I walked away to babysit the stroller while the rest of my family went on the wagon ride, it started freaking out and clucking and screaming and running around. Two minutes later everything got really quiet...so I went to investigate.
Low and behold, that chicken had laid an egg!!

Jenny said that I must have scared the s*!% out of the chicken!
Apparently the chicken wasn't quite ready to have any chicks because it soon abandoned the egg to go find some food and play with the other chickens. When my Mom and I picked up the egg to show Pearl, it was still warm!
