Barely Breathing

Do you ever feel like the world is out to get you? I know it's childish and stupid of me to feel that way, but this past month, I really feel like I can barely keep my nose above the water. I swear that just about everything that can go wrong, has gone wrong. (Knock on wood). From being horribly sick for four weeks, the numerous doctors appointments that only end with having to go to another one a week later, to missing your Great Grandma's 100th birthday party because of school, (which you are SO far behind in because you've been too sick for a month to even go) to horrible neighbor drama you wish there was something you could do to help but know that even if there was, you'd be too scared to say anything, PLUS you've got the sinking feeling that nothing you do in your life is ever right, or at least not the way other people want you to be doing it, and to top it all off...you are still SICK.
Yep, welcome to my month.
I can't help but thinking that this could very well be rock bottom for the year. And hopefully it is. Because if it gets any worse...well, I'd be drowning.
Maybe my luck is changing though, because this weekend Nick and I are going to Logan, and I couldn't be more excited to see my wonderful family and amazing friends! Trust me, this small trip couldn't be coming at a better time!

Wait, you're going home this weekend? We missed you in Colorado but it's ok to stay home for school. Don't feel too bad about that. Hang in there! Something will begin to brighten up for you...if nothing else hopefully some warm weather! If anything, come over here for dinner or Oreos.
